This painting in shades of blue and violet with a meandering grid-like scratched surface reminds me of old architectural blueprints. This particular painting was the first in a series of Blueprint paintings, which are part of a larger body of work that utilizes lines scratched into the surface of the paint. These grooves catch the paint and highlight the linear surfaces of the paintings.
